The Westside Photo Club ~
1st Thursday of the month; 6 pm – Free
An eclectic group of photo lovers, meets on the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Community Room at Westside Community Center. Club leaders are Ken Rush and Danny Oldfield who call themselves Professional Amateurs. A club meeting is about an hour and a half and will usually include some instructional material covering some camera or computer technique for producing art from photographic sources. While the emphasis is art and not a documentary, each club member makes a unique contribution and is honored by all. A goodly portion of each meeting is devoted to kind group critique of each other’s work.
