WCC Building

BIKE REPAIR, 2nd Saturday, 9 – noonMay 10,   a skilled bike repair team will tune up your recreational bike at no charge!  They will do safety checks and help you make adjustments for a safer and more comfortable ride.  Bicycle donations are always welcome.

English as a Second Language classes are offered at no charge on Sundays at WCC!  Class begins with light snacks at 5:30 and ends at 7:30 pm.  This is an ongoing program for children and adults open to all English learners of any skill level.  We would love to have you join us!  For more information, please call 385-7920 Ext 100.   No class April 20.

Grassroots Church is now offering their Sunday service at WCC at 10:30 a.m.  There will also be a Good Friday service April 19. For more information, please call Clay Ross at 719 338-2494.

Pickleball is the sport to try at WCC!     It is a combination of bad minton, ping pong, and tennis.  Paddles and balls will be provided, so please make plans to join us Wednesdays 1 -3 pm and Fridays 10:30-12:30 pm.  There is no charge,  so come give it a try!

**NEW** SilverSneakers Classic, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9 – 10 am.  This fitness class is designed for seniors who want to improve their general health and well-being and…it’s fun!  For more information, please call 385-7920 Ext 100 and then make plans to join us!

Jessica Hickman, NASM Certified Personal Trainer and owner of “31:17 Training” will OPEN the fitness center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-7 pm.  There is no charge to use the equipment during these hours. American Heart Association WALKING PATH at Westside Community Center – This is a sidewalk path that surrounds the Westside Community Center property, .33 miles.  A water fountain  is available in the main building, 1628 W. Bijou Street,  during normal business hours.

Hughes Hall is the perfect place for baby showers, group meetings, drama productions, or birthday parties. For more information on schedules, prices, and availability, please call 385-7920 Ext. 100.

PIKES PEAK COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY  relocated to 312 S. Weber St. !  PPCAA offers financial assistance and counseling is provided for utilities, prescriptions, transportation, and other life-sustaining needs.   Open weekdays from 8:30 -11:30 am and 12:30 – 4:30 p.m Please call 719 358-8396 for more information or to schedule an appointment.


Westside Community Center follows School District 11 guidelines for inclement weather.  If District 11 is closed, WCC is CLOSED.  However, if District 11 operates on a delay, WCC will be open.
