BIKE REPAIR, June 8, 9 am – noon ~ A skilled bike repair team will repair your recreational bike free of charge. They will do safety checks and help you make adjustments for a safer and more comfortable ride.
The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile will be at Westside Community Center from 8 am- 5pm on June 12 providing medical services to children and June 13 and June 14 providing dental services to children. Through funding from WCC, we will offer both medical and dental services at no charge to children who are uninsured. Medicaid and CHP+ will also be accepted. Westside Community PRESCHOOL SUMMER CAMP, June 3 through July 26. CLOSED July 1 through July 7. Camp hours are weekdays 9 am to 12:30 p.m. The fee for the camp is $225. Brain and Balance Class - Ages 50+ – June 1 & June 15, 9 – 10 am. How is your balance? This FREE one hour class will challenge and strengthen all the components of balance. Each class will have a brain activity that will make you think just as hard as you work. Please call 385-7920 Ext 100 for details.
The Westside Community Center has a fitness center! Jessica Hickman, NASM Certified Personal Trainer and owner of “31:17 Training” will OPEN the fitness center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-7 pm. There is no charge to use the equipment during these hours. Boot Camps are also being formed. These camps are reasonably priced and are based on age and agility. Westside Community Center follows School District 11 guidelines for inclement weather. If District 11 is closed, WCC is CLOSED. If District 11 operates on a delay, WCC will be open.
