WCC BuildingWestside Community Center will be CLOSED Monday, September 1st in observance of Labor Day.

AARP Driver Safety Training  -  Friday, September 19; 1-5 pm  Sign up to take the driver safety classroom course especially designed for drivers 50 and older.  Auto insurance discounts apply in most states.    The fee is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members payable at the class.  Please register by calling 385-7920 Ext 100.

BIKE REPAIR September 13, 9 – noon, a skilled bike repair team will tune up your recreational bike at no charge!  They will do safety checks and help you make adjustments for a safer and more comfortable ride.  Bicycle donations are always appreciated.

ESL (English as a Second Language) classes are offered at no charge on SUNDAYS beginning September 14.  Class begins at 5:30 and ends at 7:30 p.m.  This is an ongoing program for children and adults open to all English learners of any skill level.  Registration is open each Sunday for new students and children are welcome to attend.  For more information, please call 385-7920 Ext 100.

Pickleball is the sport to try at WCC!     It is a combination of bad minton, ping pong, and tennis.  Paddles and balls will be provided, so please make plans to join us Wednesdays 1 -3 pm  and Fridays 10:30-12:30 pm.   There is no charge,  so come give it a try!

SilverSneakers Classic, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9 – 10 am.  This fitness class is designed for seniors who want to improve their general health and well-being and…it’s fun!  For more information, please call 385-7920 Ext 100 and then make plans to join us!

The  Fitness Center will be CLOSED the month of  August for maintenance. Please watch for new hours beginning mid-September.

American Heart Association WALKING PATH at Westside Community Center – This is a sidewalk path that surrounds the Westside Community Center property, .33 miles.  A water fountain  is available in the main building, 1628 W. Bijou Street,  during normal business hours.

Hughes Hall is the perfect place for baby showers, group meetings, drama productions, or birthday parties. For more information on schedules, prices, and availability, please call 385-7920 Ext. 100.

Reach Pikes Peak  relocated to 312 S. Westside Community Center follows School District 11 guidelines for inclement weather.  If District 11 is closed, WCC is CLOSED.  However, if District 11 operates on a delay, WCC will be open.
