BIKE REPAIR August 9, 9 – noon, a skilled bike repair team will tune up your recreational bike at no charge! They will do safety checks and help you make adjustments for a safer and more comfortable ride. Bicycle donations are always appreciated.
District 11 provides breakfast and lunch at no charge to anyone 18 and under weekdays through August 15. Breakfast is served 8:45 – 9:15 a.m. and lunch is served 11:45 - 12:30 pm. Reservations are not required – we would love to have you join us!

Pickleball is the sport to try at WCC! It is a combination of bad minton, ping pong, and tennis. Paddles and balls will be provided, so please make plans to join us Wednesdays 1 -3 pm and Fridays 9:30 – 11:30 am. We’ll be playing on our outdoor court, so please bring a water bottle. There is no charge, so come give it a try!
The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile will be at the Westside Community Center 8 am – 4 pm on August 13 providing medical services, and August 14 and August 15 providing dental services to children. Through funding from Westside Community Center, we will offer both medical and dental services at no charge to children who are uninsured. Medicaid and CHP+ will also be accepted. Jessica Wasinger, NASM Certified Personal Trainer and owner of “31:17 Training” will OPEN the fitness center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-7 pm through July 31. There is no charge to use the equipment during these hours.
The Fitness Center will be CLOSED the month of August for maintenance. Please watch for new hours beginning in September.
American Heart Association WALKING PATH at Westside Community Center – This is a sidewalk path that surrounds the Westside Community Center property, .33 miles. A water fountain is available in the main building, 1628 W. Bijou Street, during normal business hours.

AARP Driver Safety Training - Friday, September 19; 1-5 pm Sign up to take the driver safety classroom course especially designed for drivers 50 and older. Westside Community Center follows School District 11 guidelines for inclement weather. If District 11 is closed, WCC is CLOSED. However, if District 11 operates on a delay, WCC will be open.
